The 15th edition of the Ultra Marin Raid Gulf of Morbihan will bring together 8000 runners from 27 to 30 June 2019.
Five races make up this unique sporting event that takes place day and night, in an exceptional natural setting, on the coastal pathways of the Gulf of Morbihan:
- – The great raid of 177Km
- – The 87Km raid
- – The 56 km trail
- – The 36km round of customs officers,
- – And the Nordic walk.
The route of the great raid is a loop from Vannes to Vannes, passing through Larmor Baden, Le Bono, Auray, Locmariaquer, Port Navalo and Sarzeau, the crossing from Port Navalo to Sarzeau being done by boat. The big raid will start on Friday 28 June at 6pm and arrive in Vannes on Sunday 30 June before 12pm.
The 87km raid will take the runners from Port du Crouesty to Port de Vannes. The departure will be given on June 28th at 3pm for an arrival in Vannes on Saturday June 29th before 9am.
The 56km trail will go from Sarzeau to Vannes. It will start on Saturday 29 June at 5pm from Sarzeau and will arrive on Sunday 30 June before 5am.
The 36km round of customs officers will cover the journey from the village of Séné (departure on Saturday 29 June at 10am) to Vannes (arrival before 4pm) while the Nordic walk (25km) will start from Le Derf stadium in Séné to reach the esplanade of the port of Vannes.
Along the routes, every 15 or 20km, supply stations are positioned to distribute fresh fruit, cheese, drinks, and some even hot dishes.
The ultramarine village located on the esplanade of the Port of Vannes welcomes the exhibitors’ stands, the podium and various activities throughout the three days of the event.
These races mobilize 1200 volunteers to ensure assistance to runners, safety and friendliness on the course.
