Cruises and crossings are available in the Gulf of Morbihan and its surroundings: Tour of the Gulf, crossings to Ile aux Moines, Ile d’Arz and Ile de Gavrinis; crossings to Belle-Ile-en-Mer, Ile de Houat, Ile de Hoëdic and Ile de Groix.
You may also prefer a more private navigation by embarking on old typical Morbihan rigging, or by opting for a boat rental.
Sea kayaking, paddling, scuba diving, and fishing are other possible activities in this exceptional environment.
A few kilometers away, head to the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean to discover the region’s popular surf spots: Ste Barbe in Plouharnel, and Kerhillio in Erdeven, in particular.
Hiking in Morbihan on the GR34
If you prefer the mainland, you can also discover the region on foot along the GR34, which passes one kilometer from the Villa du Guern and offers exceptional views of the Gulf of Morbihan.
Cycling can also be a pleasant choice, as can horse riding in the nearby horse clubs.

And if you like golf, you will enjoy 2 km from La Villa du Guern the 18-hole Bluegreen Golf course in Baden, located by the water. The 27-hole Bluegreen Saint-Laurent Golf Course, located in a forest of oaks and pines not far from the ria d’Etel, will also offer you a beautiful course.

Sailing occupies an important place in the annual calendar of events in the Gulf of Morbihan: Gulf Week, Spi Ouest France in La Trinité, Eurocat in Carnac, Catagolfe in Arradon.
Gulf Week is also a major event that takes place every two years and brings together a diverse fleet of more than a thousand boats.
